How do I Authorize a Salesforce Token for LeanData? Follow
For customers operating under LeanData Standard Configuration mode, LeanData requires a Salesforce token in order to properly sync settings and provide proactive monitoring of the LeanData Application.
Only one User in your Salesforce organization needs to authorize a token, but if this User is deactivated, the token will also be deactivated, and another User will have to authorize a token.
Please Note: The User who Authorizes a Token does not need to be the same as the LeanData Integration User. If you would like to designate a User as the LeanData Integration User, please see the article: How Do I Change the LeanData Integration User?
To Authorize a Token
- Log in as the User that you would like to authorize the token.
- Navigate to the LeanData Application by clicking on the LeanData Tab
- Once in the tab, you will see an “Authorize Salesforce Token” button on the home screen. If the button shows "Installation Complete" then you have already Authorized a Salesforce token with this User.
- Click to Authorize the token and follow the prompts.
(If you don’t see “Authorize Salesforce Token”, click on the “Show Authorization” link in the upper right)
In some instances, you may not be able to see the "Show Authorization" link. If this is the case, you can authorize a token by directly following this link.
