To link LeanData's routing and scheduling process to the leads/contacts created through your form, you’ll need to add a hidden field to your form following the steps below. This field will store the log id that should eventually be placed on your lead or contact record in Salesforce through your marketing automation. If you have your own process for accomplishing this, please feel free to skip this guide and go with whatever makes sense in the context of your setup.
Begin by creating a new text field on your leads/contacts in Salesforce with a length of at least 50 characters. Ensure that this field is synced over to Marketo via a two-way sync.
Once this has been added, add an input field on your form corresponding to this field.
Set the “Field Type” of this input to “Hidden” and the “Form Pre-fill” behavior to “Disabled”
