Dec '21 Service Advisory: Hold Until Nodes Follow
We recently discovered a bug in versions 1.562 and 1.566, where all records in the Hold Until nodes were routed through the Time Expired edge despite conditions being met. The bug was fixed on December 9th at 3:07PM PST.
In order to ensure impacted records follow the expected path, please follow these steps:
- Check your email that was sent out on December 10th, 2021 for the date/time of the upgrade. The subject line should be: 'Action Required - LeanData Service Advisory'
- Identify the impacted records via Audit Logs for each object where Hold Until is used
- Identify impacted records
- Trigger: Hold-Until Routing
- Start Date/Time: Upgrade Date/Time
- End Date/Time: December 9th, 3:07PM PST
- Add filters:
- Export the Audit Logs
- Remove duplicate IDs
- Identify second set of impacted records
- Outcome: Hold-Until (Pending Route)
- Start Date/Time: Upgrade Date/Time
- End Date/Time: December 9th, 3:07PM PST
- Add filters:
- Export the Audit Logs
- Identify impacted records
- Navigate to the Audit Logs for each object
If the number of impacted records is relatively low, or if it would not make sense to re-route the records at this point in time, we recommend that you manually correct anything that needs to be corrected or leave the impacted records as they are.
If you would like to re-route a higher volume of records, we recommend using the Routing Scheduler feature to run the impacted records through for re-routing. You can do so by following the steps below, or reaching out to LeanData Support to get assistance with this step:
- Copy and save the existing Live graph and remove the nodes already evaluated which came prior to the Hold Until node. Also, remove the Hold Until node.
- Add decision node(s) with the Hold Until criteria so LeanData can re-evaluate the conditions and re-route the records
- Run the file exported from the Audit Logs through this newly created graph. You can do so by using the Routing Scheduler
- Repeat steps 1-3 for every object where Hold Until was used
