Overview
With LeanData BookIt’s Microsoft Teams Integration, you can:
- Automatically add unique Microsoft video conferencing links when a meeting is booked.
- Reduce any manual labor required for updating scheduling links when a meeting is canceled or rescheduled.
Note: Only BookIt users who have authorized their Microsoft account will be able to use Microsoft Teams.
How to Connect Your Microsoft Teams Account From LeanData
If you want to connect your Microsoft Teams Account:
- Login with your Salesforce account to connect to .
- Once you are logged in, search for the LeanData App.
- Navigate to People > Users and select your Username.
- On the Video Conferencing tab, click Connect on the Microsoft Teams Integration tile.
- Sign into your Microsoft Account and BookIt will automatically connect to Microsoft Teams.
Once you have connected your Microsoft Teams account, set Microsoft Teams as your default conferencing tool by clicking the Set as Default button on the Microsoft Teams tile. By doing this, each time a meeting is booked with you, BookIt will automatically generate a unique Microsoft Teams link and add this link to your events and confirmation emails.
Please note: if you authorized BookIt with your Microsoft Calendar, you will already be Authorized for Microsoft Teams video conferencing. If you authorize a Google Calendar, you will not be able to use Microsoft Teams video conferencing.
How to Deauthorize Your Microsoft Teams Account from LeanData
If you want to disconnect your Microsoft Teams Account:
- Navigate to People > Users and select your User Name. On the Video Conferencing tab, click Disconnect on the Microsoft Teams Integration tile.
- Your account will automatically be disconnected. A different conferencing tool will be auto-selected as a default (if another one is connected).
