Overview
For Users that want to add certain components to their graph, but unsure what combination of nodes to use, Routing Snippets provide small pre-built subsections of nodes that you can quickly copy and incorporate into your existing graphs, without having to build them from scratch. With this powerful tool, you can quickly adapt to a wider range of use cases, ensuring your graphs are always aligned with your specific goals.
How to Access the Routing Snippet Library
There are two ways to access LeanData's library of Routing Snippets that you can incorporate into your own graph:
- On the FlowBuilder Tile Page
- From within an individual graph.
Access from the FlowBuilder Tile Page
From the LeanData App, on the left sidebar, navigate to Routing > [Object Name] > FlowBuilder. On the FlowBuilder Tile page, click on the Browse Snippets button by Graph Snippets.
This will open up a modal that shows you a collection of LeanData Graph Snippets that contain pre-built collections of nodes for different use cases. These will be categorized into sections on the left sidebar.
Access from within an Individual Graph
You can also access the Routing Snippet Library directly from within a FlowBuilder Graph.
From within an open FlowBuilder Graph, click on the Routing Snippets icon from the floating menu (see image below).
This will open up a drawer with the library of LeanData Graph Snippets that contain pre-built collections of nodes for different use cases. These will be categorized into sections on the left sidebar.
Using Routing Snippets
Viewing Individual Routing Snippet Details
Each Routing Snippet tile comes with a brief description of what that snippet contains. The tile will also display letters to indicate which objects are compatible with the snippet.
If you would like to view additional details, including which nodes are included in the snippet, and which LeanData subscription is required to use the nodes contained in the snippet, hover over a snippet tile, and click on View Details.
If you are accessing the snippet from within an individual graph, clicking on Add Snippet to Graph will add the snippet into your graph. The nodes that comprise that snippet will appear on your graph.
Please Note: the new nodes added to your graph may have errors as they will not yet be connected to the rest of your graph, and may still need configuration.
If you are accessing the snippet from the main FlowBuilder Tile page, clicking Copy Snippet to Clipboard will save the snippet to your clipboard, and you can use the Paste function when you open a graph to add the snippet to that graph.
Please note: if the option to add or copy the snippet is disabled, this means that you do not have access to all the nodes contained within the snippet. This may mean that the snippet contains nodes that are not included in your LeanData subscription, the snippet contains integration nodes you have not enabled and authorized yet, the snippet contains a node that the LeanData team needs to enable for you, or the snippet can only be used for a different object graph.
