Related Object-Based Routing
Unlock every related datapoint with the new Get Records Match node! Instantly surface key information from related objects and lists associated with your routed record to improve assignments, record updates, and engagements. Simply drag and drop the Get Records Match node into your graph to ensure every routing decision is made with complete context.
Who: Available for customers with the Advanced package.
How: Navigate to LeanData > Routing > FlowBuilder > Match > Get Records to check it out!
Use Cases:
- Product Interest Based Routing: Look through a list of products a Lead has shown interest in, and determine which product interest was the most recent. Route the Lead to an available specialist best suited to sell that product.
- Territory Routing: Automatically route leads to the right owner by looking through a related list of Territory Members on your custom Territory objects.
- Opportunity & Product Interest Routing: If a Lead is matched to an open Opportunity, check to see if the Lead’s product interests match any of the products related to that Opportunity. If so, add the Lead as a member of the opportunity’s buying group. If not, create a net new opportunity.
For more information please see our guide: Related Object-List Based Routing Guide
Object Variables
Orchestrate records with even more flexibility! You can now set variables for objects and related records via any FlowBuilder Match node, or directly in the Set Variable node. This means you can store specific matched records into unique variables, and reference them anywhere in your graph to improve routing assignments, record updates, and more!
Who: Available for customers with Standard, Advanced, or Premium packages. Also available in the BookIt Standard package.
How: Updates have been made to Match, Decision, and Action nodes to help easily store and reference object variables in your routing process. Navigate to LeanData > Routing > FlowBuilder to check it out.
Use Cases:
- Hierarchical Matching: Set variables for different matched records found in your routing logic. Leverage this to route records to the right account owner, or update records to reflect the most up-to-date information relevant to your teams.
For example:
- A Lead is matched to 2 Accounts, using two separate Lead to Account Match nodes:
-
- Walgreens (Corporate)
- Walgreens (San Francisco Store #123)
- Store each Account in a unique variable using the respective Lead to Account Match node they were identified in.
- Route the Lead to the Matched Account Owner of the Corporate Walgreens
- Update the Lead with Account information from the local San Francisco Walgreens
- Route Based on Custom Matches: If your organization routes based on custom matching logic(for example, you utilize code to customize matches further), we’ve added even more flexibility to do so! Simply use the Set Variable node to store custom matched objects, and pair it with any Action node to drive the correct owner assignment.

Any Object to Account Matching
Match any object to the right Account in Salesforce, leveraging LeanData’s out-of-the-box fuzzy matching! Who: Available for customers with the Premium package.
How: Available in Any Object FlowBuilders. Navigate to LeanData > Routing > Any Object to get started.

- Match Lead Follow Up Tasks to the right Account and route them to the appropriate owner, with SLAs to ensure timely engagement.
- Match Product Interest objects to the right Account and route them to the next available product specialist suited to sell that product.
- Match Partner Applications to the right Account and route them to the right partner team member for follow up.
- Re-match Marketing Activity objects such as Campaigns, Events, Product Interest, that were auto-created in external systems (I.e. CDP, external software) to the right Account in Salesforce, and route them to the correct Matched Account Owner.
- Ensure new objects (such as Tasks, Events, Partner Apps, and more!) are always associated with the right Account in Salesforce. Leverage information on the matched Account to drive precise routing assignments, and add SLA’s to ensure accountability.

Case to Account Matching
Account context is critical for efficiently resolving Cases and delivering excellent customer support. You can now ensure every Case is matched to the right Account in Salesforce, with new Match, Decision and Action nodes in Case Router! Leverage this to ensure every support ticket and action item is handled with complete and accurate Account information, improving Case assignments, customer team productivity, and database accuracy!
Who: Available for customers with the Premium package.
How: Navigate to LeanData > Routing > Cases > FlowBuilder to get started.
Use Cases:
- Match Stand-Alone Cases: Ensure existing, stand-alone Cases (no account associated) are matched to the correct Account in Salesforce, and routed to the correct Customer Success rep or Support specialist to address.
- Find the Best Match: Find a better account match than the original system that created the Case. Leverage LeanData to re-match Cases (that were created externally, and associated with a different Account) to the best appropriate matched account, update the record, and route it to the right customer team member to address.
