FlowBuilder Performance Optimizations
FlowBuilder’s performance has been optimized to deliver the following improvements:
- Faster loading times, especially for organizations with more than 100 nodes.
- Faster Editor performance within the graph, including drag & drop capabilities.
- Faster Routing Insights performance.
Tagging Field Manager
You can now determine which Account fields will trigger a processing job (aka: CCIO). This customization enables organizations to avoid processing delays by limiting the changes that get processed, with a new easy-to-use configuration. To access this feature, navigate to Matching > Tagging Settings > Advanced.
Use Cases:
- Process only relevant tagging changes (for better performance)
- Example - Select only high priority fields, reducing the number of triggered processes to run in SFDC.
- Example - Select only high priority fields, reducing the number of triggered processes to run in SFDC.
- Prevent updates to a tagged record when irrelevant changes are made
- Example - A zip code is updated on the Account record. Admins can now prevent these updates from re-evaluating and processing Leads tagged with this Account.
Send Email Notifications with Relevant Fields
You can now provide more context within the notifications by composing messages that reference multiple objects, directly in FlowBuilder. Message composer functionality has been extended to emails, and you can now add as many fields from as many related or matched objects as necessary.
Use Cases:
- Contextual/Actionable emails for Reps:
- Email reps with information about the Lead and the duplicate existing Contact.
- Email reps with information about Opportunities and the related Account's Score (or any Account field that might be useful).
Technical Callouts:
- Fields from multiple “whoID” (Lead, Contact) and “whatID” (Account, Opportunity, Case) objects can be inserted into the message.
- No dependence on Salesforce Templates for creating notifications.
- Available in FlowBuilder > Send Notification Node > Email
- Available in FlowBuilder >Action Nodes > Success/Failure Notifications
Additional Features/Improvements:
- People/Users page:
- Easily identify users without any custom working hours assigned by filtering on “Default 24/7.” Available in People > Users
- Date/Time Field Operators:
- New field operators have been added for Date/Time fields to make configurations more intuitive and user-friendly (“at or before”, “at or after”, etc.). These operators are available throughout the LeanData application.
Campaign Member-Based Routing (in version 1.551)
Within Flowbuilder, you can initiate Lead or Contact Routing when Campaign Members meet specified conditions. A lead or contact can be routed based upon their most engaged Campaign response, opening the door for more intelligent and contextual routing. You can access this option within a new “Trigger” category in the Nodes menu. You can access the Campaign Member related Decision/Match nodes in the Node Selector in your router flow.
Use Cases
- Inbound: If a Lead requests a Demo, route the Lead to a Product Specialist based on the Lead’s interests.
- Outbound: If a cold Lead responds with interest to a new campaign, LeanData can route that Lead accordingly and drive immediate action from the sales team.
- Outbound: After a Lead qualifies for Routing, automatically determine the best rep for the Lead by referencing the most recent activity on the Lead and the most engaged Campaign Member response.
