Overview

The New Prospect Trigger node is the entry point for webform inputs of BookIt!.

During implementation, you will place a javascript snippet into webforms. This javascript will send the information to the New Prospect Trigger node on the currently deployed BookIt! Router graph.

Example: Hillary is the LeanData admin at Lighthouse Development. She is tasked with creating a Router Flow for BookIt!. She customizes the Node Name, Description, and adds the Field Mapping for the Webform to Variables in BookIt. The Field Mapping takes the information from the webform and places it in variables that LeanData can use when routing the Prospect to the person that will be holding the meeting. The last step is for her to set the Target for the Node. The target is the next node in the Router graph.

Customization

The customization options give you the tools to configure the behavior of the New Prospect Tigger Node.

Node Name

By default, the Node Name is set to New Prospect. You can change this label to anything you need. We strongly recommend giving this node a meaningful name such as the subject of the node. This will help others understand the purpose of the node. For our example, we would call this node, New Prospect Entry Point.

Description

This field is not required but we recommend adding a description to document any customizations made to the node. If someone else needs to take over the management of the flow, they will be able to understand the goal of the customizations.

Form Field Mapping

In order to take in the information from the webform, we need to make the form fields to the variable they will be stored in. Variables are containers that store information and can be used throughout your routing logic (e.g., used to match your prospect to the right account).

Form Field API Name

The Form Fields are the identifiers for each of the fields on your webform. These API names are in your Marketing Automation solution. It may not match the prospect-facing name shown on your webform. Enter the Form Field API name for each of your webform form fields. Form Field API Names usually do not have spaces.

Variable

Variables are where LeanData will store the information from your webform fields, during routing. If you don't see a preset variable that maps well to your webform input(s), enter your own custom variables. To add a custom variable, simply type in the name to use and select the appropriate data type. When you enter the custom variable name, you will see the variable name displayed in the pull-down menu with the word custom in parentheses. Press Enter to add the variable.

Data Type

Select Data Type for your custom variable. The available types are: Text, Number, True/False, and Phone.

Add Field Mapping

Use the Add Field Mapping button to add additional rows for field mapping. If you add too many rows you can always delete a row using the X button to the side.

Trigger Edge

The Trigger Edge allows you to select the next node for the prospect to be routed to. Select the next node. The list will populate with all the nodes on the canvas.

Summary

The New Prospect Trigger is used to take information from the webform in your Marketing Automation and map it to variables in a BookIt! Routing graph. The graph will then route the prospect to the best person to take the meeting.
