Tagging Mapped Fields Not Updating Troubleshooting Guide

If you are expecting certain fields to be updated with values by the Tagging product but it does not appear to be working as intended, here are some troubleshooting steps to take.

Check Mapped Account Fields

Please check your mapped Account Fields in LeanData > Matching > Advanced Settings > Mapped Account Fields to ensure that the field is selected as one of your Mapped Account Fields so that LeanData will update it accordingly.

Check Field Accessibility & Security

Please check to ensure that the LeanData Integration user has permissions to edit the field(s) in question. If the LeanData integration user’s profile does not have access to the field, LeanData will be unable to update the value accordingly.
In Salesforce Setup > Object Manager > Lead > Fields and Relationships, select the field in question, then click View Field Accessibility.

On the Accessibility page, find the field in question in the dropdown, then ensure that your LeanData Integration User's profile shows the field as editable.

If not, please update the Integration User's Access settings so that the field is visible in their layouts.

 

Check Apex Jobs

Check your Apex jobs to see if there are any failures or errors that are generating. Navigate to Salesforce Setup > Apex Jobs to view your Apex Jobs.

If you see any error messages or failures in any LeanData Jobs, this could be causing LeanData to fail and you can contact LeanData support for further assistance.
