What Happens if I Have the Same Condition Within My Hold Until Node and Updated Entry Node?

Have more questions? Submit a request

Sometimes you may have the same condition set within your Updated Entry node and your Hold-Until node:

In this case, if a record is in the Hold-Until node but is updated to where it meets both the Updated Entry node and the Hold-Until node exit conditions, then it will only exit the Hold-Until node and will not trigger through the Updated Entry node.

Example: A Lead record routes and enters the Hold-Until node shown above. While the record is in the Hold-Until node, it is updated to have an Email ending in "leandata.com" and Status equal to "Working - Contacted." This condition is a trigger rule in the Updated Entry node. However, because the nodes have the same condition and the Lead is already in the Hold-Until node, the latter takes priority and the Lead exits the Hold-Until node without triggering the Updated Entry node.
