How can I apply multiple sets of Working Hours to Users?

Currently, the LeanData interface only allows you to assign one set of Working Hours to a User in LeanData. If certain Users need to have multiple sets of Working Hours in different Round Robin Pools, the following steps will describe a workaround to accomplish this.

In our example below, some Users may be in two different Round Robin Pools mean for 2 different schedules: MonWedFri (Monday - Wednesday - Friday) and/or TuesThursSat (Tuesday - Thursday - Saturday). You may substitute your own sets of Working Hours to accommodate your needs.

1) For Users who have both Working Hour Sets, assign them one of these working hour sets as normal. We will use the TuesThursSat Working Hours Set in this example.

2) For the other Set of Working Hours (MonWedFri), create a queue or use a placeholder User in your Salesforce setup that will be used as a placeholder with the MonWedFri schedule. Assign this User/Queue the MonWedFri Working Hours Set.

3) Create pools for your actual MonWedFri and TuesThursSat Users. Do NOT check the Respect User Schedules box for the pool with your MonWedFri Users, since some of these Users may be shared between pools. Leaving this box checked allows LeanData to assign Leads to these Users at all times. We will ensure that Leads only get assigned at the correct times in this pool in a later step.

4) In the FlowBuilder graph, create an Assign Record Node and configure this node to Assign records to your Placeholder User/Queue with the MonWedFri Working Hours. Ensure that this node will Respect User's Schedule (specifically Working Hours).

5) Create Round Robin Nodes for your MonWedFri Pool and TuesThursSat Pool.

6) Configure the fallback edges within the node that assigns records to your Placeholder Queue/User. Set the Next Node edge to proceed to the MonWedFri Pool node, and set the Out of User Schedule Edge to proceed to the TuesThursSat Pool node.

Using this method, records that enter during the MonWedFri timeframe will follow the Next Node edge and get assigned via the MonWedFri Pool referenced in the next node.

Records that enter outside of the MonWedFri timeframe will follow the Out of User Schedule edge and proceed to get assigned via the TuesThursSat Pool referenced in the subsequent node.
